What the Dispatcher Will Ask
Have these four things ready and the call takes two minutes:
- Where you are — address, cross street, exit, or landmark
- What you’re driving — year, make, and model
- What happened — won’t start, flat, locked out, in a ditch, accident
- Where it’s going — if it needs a tow
If you’re on a highway shoulder: stay in the vehicle with your seatbelt on, or stand well away from traffic. If anyone is hurt, call 911 first.
